What is EFT?
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is a brief self-applied stress reduction technique using elements of cognitive therapy, with physical stimulation of acupuncture points. It is often referred to as 'Tapping' as it uses a two finger tapping process on known acupuncture points.

EFT is a powerful self-applied stress reduction method with hundreds of clinical trials demonstrating its effectiveness. EFT can address a range of issues by simply focusing on the issue you would like to address with an acceptance statement along with a simple finger tapping technique. It is evidence based and has been researched now for more than 20 years. There is 250 plus published journal articles that show it affects a range of biochemistry in the body eg. Cortisol, brain activity, blood pressure and DNA expression.

EFT is used when we have overwhelming emotions or physical reactions to events, memories, trauma or beliefs. These can be set of by "triggers" that set off flight or fight response.
